I have updated Reporting Manager at the Reporting Structure. System has displayed ‘Records have been saved successfully’, but why the change is still not reflected?

System will display the employee name and ID in the dropdown list when the user key in any names or ID in the Manager’s field. Manager must be selected from the drop down list in order for the system to successfully update the reporting.
Manager’s name was not selected from the dropdown list instead user key in the name manually in the Manager’s field.
Log in as administrator
Go to personnel -> Manage Employee -> Employees- > Click the employee name
Under the System (right hand side) -> click Reporting
Key in employee’s manager name or ID in the Manager’s field -> system will show a list of names in the drop down list -> select the manager’s name from the drop down list and click save button
